Sevencups In Local Media
Even though we sell tea in thirty four different countries we are most honored by the community we have here, in Tucson. Recently we had the chance to sit down and share some tea with a couple groups in our local media. We had a great time talking about our business and felt very privileged by the opportunity. As part of Tucson’s KOVA News Channel 4’s “4 Your Health” series, Seven Cups was featured in an installment about tea. The video features some sweeping shots of the interior of our tea house and a brief interview with Austin.
In the grassroots media, our good friend Eric K. Carr of www.enersanctum.com conducted an in depth interview with us for his podcast ( direct link / iTunes ). We had fun talking with Eric for long time, our discussion spanning the simple enjoyment of tea to the economic forces affecting the tea business today. Eric assembled a slide show to accompany the interview which contains a number of photographs from our work in China. Many of these photos have never been seen online before.
Finally in related news, we are more than pleased to have again been voted Best Tea Service and Bulk Tea Selection in the Tucson Weekly’s annual Best of Tucson. Thanks, Tucson!
