Jinggu Puer, Rich and Sweet, Has Returned
For those of you that are not puer detective and scholars, Jinggu Puer at one time was the standard for puer in China. Jinggu Country is the largest forested country in Yunnan and grow some of the richest maocha available. It is known for its sweet Chinese dates. The old Jinggu factory that was closed for many years has been refurbished and reopened in 2007. The tea is great and the prices very reasonable. If you are new to puer this is a very good place to start, and if you are puer knowledgeable you can see why Jinggu was so sought after in the past.
