Hi Richard! Thanks for your comment. I totally get what you are saying; after being diagnosed with age-related dementia five or six years ago, my 89-year-old grandmother now drinks An Ji Bai Cha daily for her brain health and has been able to get off of her Aricept. She believes that it is because of the tea, and there is plenty of research to back up her beliefs. I obviously can't dispense medical advice, and tea is not a panacea, but I have seen way too many people who get astounding results from tea to be surprised that it outperformed Non Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory drugs in one study, or improved Parkinson's in another. The point of my post, though, was that we get to enjoy tea for both it's health benefits AND for the pure hedonistic pleasure of experiencing tea in its fullness. :)

When you hit the 40's and see the effects of Parkinsons or Breast Cancer in a person, and the rapid decay of life to inability to move or talk and the pain it puts on the children. I think a lot of us decide to do whatever we can to keep us around if not for our own devices but to ensure a longer happiness of those around us to perhaps have a cup of tea with :)

All I can say is I love tea and have been looking for a great tea house in the Louisville, KY area. Sadly you guys are not here...if you are ever considering expanding, come to Louisville. :)
