Wu Yi Mtn Rock Oolong
Rock Oolong is the original oolong first invented by monks in Tian Xin Temple in Wu Yi Shan (Mountain) at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty. The name oolong (or sometimes spelled wulong) comes from the shape of the dried leaves. Tea makers noted that the tea looked like a ‘Black Dragon’ and the name was born. Rock Oolong special qualities comes from the mineral-rich soil of Wu Yi Shan. In general, Rock Oolong has a roasted mineral favor with no bitterness and sweet aftertaste. The taste and quality of these fine teas are stable and can last over two years.
