Is it recommended to wash or open the leaves by discarding the first infusion of ginseng oolong?

Hi Adam
I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to answer, we have been having some technical problems.Don't discard the first infusion. It will have the highest concentration of ginseng. In China, very often, if you order ginseng oolong they will put the first infusion in a small pitcher and then pour it into later infusions.
