  1. Hello everyone,

I'm very new to finer teas but one thing I don't understand right off. I've read that, due to the quality and the reduced processing, white tea is considered to be more healthful than green teas. But I've also read that powdered teas like Matcha are more healthful, basically because you are consuming the whole leaf. I understand there are many differences between teas that are "preference" based, but the health issues would seem to be more 'cut and dried'.

    Thanks!!

    Ken,

This website http://www.amazing-green-tea.com/white-tea.html is devoted primarily to the health benefits of tea (oolong, green, and white). You may find more information there.

Alas, I can't address your question about matcha since I've never seen any health benefit information for it.

    Tom.
